Stepping On Feet

“ If someone steps on your foot you must step back on their foot too. And visa-versa. Otherwise you will have an argument or conflict. The root of this superstition comes from our ancestor nomads, for who traveling was a main way of existence. It was believed that if you step on someones foot you are cutting off their further journey. This was considered very serious and you would most likely be beaten for this. Nowadays, stepping back to “get even” is enough, thankfully.”
